WHO WE ARE

Designed to monitor and evaluate the drinking water quality of numerous small water systems in eastern Contra Costa County, Robertel Laboratory was originally established in 1920. In 1991 CERCO Analytical bought Robertel Laboratory and continued with servicing Contra Costa County and other Bay Area small water systems.

Over the past nine decades, CERCO Analytical, Inc. – located in Concord at 1100 Willow Pass Court (Willow Pass Business Park) increased its capabilities and expertise in Water and Wastewater Testing & Analysis while maintaining the personalized service and high quality our clients had come to expect. In 2021, the regulated side of the business was sold so that CERCO Analytical, Inc. could specialize solely in the testing and analysis of water and soils for corrosivity classification purposes to meet the rapidly expanding demands throughout industry worldwide for these services. As such we now proudly serve the corrosivity analysis needs of individuals and industry throughout the United States as well as Clients outside the continental United States.

In conjunction with our sister company JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc., CERCO Analytical, Inc. specializes in the testing and analysis of soil and water samples for corrosivity purposes using approved ASTM, Caltrans, AASHTO, Corps of Engineers and NACE Test Methods. CERCO Analytical is approved by the United States Department of Agriculture for the import of foreign soil samples from outside the continental United States.  Also, CERCO has a Regulated Domestic Soils Agreement for shipping soil samples within the continental United States.

CERCO Analytical, Inc. is a woman-owned business along with being a small business enterprise (SBE) registered in the State of California.  Our professional staff has the expertise and capacity to provide the soil and water corrosivity classification needs of this burgeoning industry.
